Tottenham Sensation Dele Alli Plays Down Steven Gerrard Comparisons & Reveals His Favoured Position

Tottenham midfielder Dele Alli insists he still has 'so much to achieve' before he can be considered to be as good as Premier League legend Steven Gerrard.

The 21-year-old has had yet another superb year with Spurs and is currently the highest scoring midfielder in the league this season.

With 16 goals to his name so far, Alli could well hit the 20 mark before the end of the campaign and with his influence seemingly growing on Mauricio Pochettino's side game-by-game, the England international has been likened to Gerrard. 

Whilst he admits he is flattered by such comparisons, Alli insists he remains level-headed and still has a long way to go before he can be considered to have the same status as one of Anfield's old heroes.  Read more>>>
