Real Madrid to Press on With Pursuit of Chelsea Star Despite Reported Ronaldo Unrest

​Tensions between Cristiano Ronaldo and Real Madrid's hierarchy could be set to rise after reports suggested the club will press ahead with plans to land number one target Eden Hazard.

​Diario Gol has claimed that Los Blancos boss Zinedine Zidane and club president Florentino Perez are determined to bring the Chelsea star to the Bernabeu, and doing so could see Ronaldo follow through with threats to leave the club if Hazard heads to Madrid.

​Reports from the same paper had said that the Real superstar was ready to depart the La Liga giants if the club decided to try and land Hazard and Antoine Griezmann from Real's bitter city rivals Atletico, with the 31-year-old concerned that he would be replaced as the main man in Madrid if either player joined Real's cause. >>Read more
