Ronald Koeman has been sacked by Everton after Sunday’s 5-2 home defeat by Arsenal. It was the club’s third loss in four matches and left them in the Premier League’s relegation zone.
Koeman took over as Everton’s manager in June 2016 and spent heavily in the transfer window this summer without adequately replacing the striker Romelu Lukaku, who joined Manchester United.
