Sheffield United Women’s Sophie Jones charged with racially abusing opponent

The Sheffield United Women’s player Sophie Jones has been charged by the Football Association with racially abusing Tottenham Hotspur’s Renee Hector.

Hector alleged that an opponent directed monkey noises at her during an FA Women’s Championship game on 6 January.
