Liverpool have 'top Raheem Sterling replacement' already lined up, insists Reds legend

Liverpool hero John Aldridge insists Raheem Sterling’s impending big money switch to Manchester City is a "win-win" for the club - as they have a better replacement in Jordon Ibe.

The Reds have rejected two bids from their Premier League rivals for the England international, the most recent reported to be around £40million, as they look to offload the wantaway 20-year-old for around the £50m mark.

But, with players set to return to pre-season training next week, former striker Aldridge believes the youngster – who has turned down a £100,000-a-week contract offer – should be sold sooner rather than later.
