More than 4,000 people contribute after official search for Cardiff City footballer and pilot suspended

Relatives of Emiliano Sala are overseeing their own air and sea search for the missing Cardiff City footballer after more than 4,000 people contributed to a crowdfunding appeal.

Seven days after the plane carrying Sala and the pilot, David Ibbotson, went missing over the Channel Islands and four days on from the suspension of the official search, family members are on Guernsey as the operation takes place.
