Bournemouth’s manager does not do social media and it is not in his character to let kind words go to his head. It is in one ear and out the other with Howe, a restless soul who is never happy to stand still in his professional life.

The driving force behind Bournemouth’s rise from the brink of financial oblivion to the upper reaches of the Premier League in the past 10 years has many speaking about him as a future England manager.
