Mohamed Salah has signed a new contact at Liverpool to 2023 in a move that Jürgen Klopp said “speaks very loudly” of the club’s ambitions.

The deal agreed by the forward does not contain a release clause and was described by Klopp as reward for a player who scored 44 goals in 52 Liverpool appearances last season, his first since joining from Roma.
