Footage of the Blackpool and England stalwart in action is not easy to find but Armfield was also admired for his warm and authoritative broadcasting, and it can be savoured as he reflects on his life in football here, and on his England days here.

2) Oriente Petrolero striker Tanque jumps off the bench, scores with his first touch to seal a 2-0 victory in the first leg of their Copa Libertadores tie with Universitario de Deportes, and jumps into a car to celebrate.
